Victoria Miro came to us needing a stunning new design with space to showcase their fantastic images. They also wanted to create an exciting and contemporary user experience without the limitations and increased expense of using Flash. The site Artlogic have produced is coded entirely in HTML ensuring that Victoria Miro have total control over the content, updating it directly from Artlogic Online and our content management system. The site delivers the smooth transitions and innovative display techniques associated with Flash whilst maintaining its excellent visibility in search engine rankings and remaining flexible for any future changes to the design. The design itself captures the elegance and beauty of the gallery's spaces providing a virtual equivalent where the artworks can make the maximum impact and be viewed in detail.
The new site has more information than ever before about the gallery's artists, exhibitions, news, press and publications, accessible through easily navigable menus. We have also added a 'Store' to help Victoria Miro to sell their publications and editions to site visitors.
We think you'll enjoy exploring the site at www.victoria-miro.com.
